Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 2025

Welcome to BinPals Trash Valet (“BinPals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By signing up for our trash valet services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the Terms of Service outlined below. Please read this agreement carefully. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and BinPals Trash Valet.

Service Overview

BinPals Trash Valet provides residential trash can roll-out and roll-back services on your designated city pickup day.

Our service includes:

  • Pulling your trash and recycling bins from your home to the curb before city pickup
  • Returning your bins to the location designated by you after pickup
  • Weekly service, unless otherwise posted or delayed by holidays or city scheduling changes

Our standard plan is:

$48/month – Up to 3 bins (trash + recycling combined)

Additional bins or special requests may incur additional charges.

Service Eligibility

To receive service, your home must:

  • Be located within an active BinPals service zone
  • Have accessible bins on the day of service
  • Provide safe, reasonable access (e.g., unlocked gate unless you provide a code)

If access cannot be safely or reasonably provided, BinPals may skip service for that day without refund.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Place bins in the agreed-upon area of your property on service days
  • Ensure a clear and safe path to your bins (no animals with access, hazards, or blocked gates)
  • Notify BinPals of any changes to your home access, gate codes, or bin location
  • Ensure your bins comply with city guidelines (no overweight bins, hazardous waste, etc.)

Our “No Missed Day” Guarantee

BinPals is committed to reliability.

If BinPals fails to take your bins to the curb or return them due to our fault, we will personally haul your trash to the dump at no additional cost to you.

This guarantee applies only when:

  • The failure was caused by a BinPals mistake
  • The customer provided proper access
  • The bins were placed in the agreed-upon location
  • No hazardous or prohibited materials are present

This guarantee does NOT apply when:

  • The city does not pick up your trash
  • Your bins were inaccessible, overweight, or non-compliant
  • Weather or emergencies prevent safe access
  • The customer failed to follow service requirements

BinPals reserves the right to determine whether a missed day qualifies under this section.

Billing & Payments

  • Service is billed monthly in advance
  • Payment is required to begin service
  • Auto-payment may be used with your authorization
  • Failed or late payments may result in service interruption

Non-Refundable Policy

Monthly payments are non-refundable once service has begun.

Service Changes, Delays & Holidays

Trash pickup schedules may be affected by:

  • City holiday schedules
  • Severe weather
  • Community access restrictions
  • Emergencies or safety issues

BinPals follows the city’s public holiday trash schedule. If the city delays pickup, BinPals will adjust pickup accordingly.

Service Cancellation

You may cancel service at any time with written notice.

Cancellation becomes effective at the end of your current paid billing period.

BinPals Trash Valet may cancel service for:

  • Repeated payment failures
  • Dangerous or unsafe property conditions
  • Abusive or threatening behavior
  • Frequent access issues preventing service

Liability & Limitations

BinPals is not responsible for:

  • Damage to bins caused by city waste trucks
  • Damage from weather events, animals, or third parties
  • Items inside the bins
  • City failure to empty your trash

BinPals is responsible for:

  • Damage caused directly by our employees while performing services
  • Accessibility issues caused solely by our error
  • Meeting our No Missed Day Guarantee (Section 4)

Liability is limited to the cost of one month of service.

Access & Security

If you provide gate codes or access instructions, you authorize BinPals to use them strictly for performing valet trash services.

BinPals does not record, store, or share gate codes outside of operational use.
